Behavioural disorders

Behavioural disorders involve a pattern of disruptive behaviours that cause problems in school, at home and in social situations, common in children and adults.

Nearly everyone shows some of these behaviours at times, but behaviour disorders are more serious. If left untreated in childhood, these disorders can negatively affect a person’s ability to hold a job and maintain relationships.

Behavioural disorders include:

  • Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
  • Conduct Disorder
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
  • Disruptive Behavioural Disorders
  • Emotional Disorders
